Martin Ballard is Principal Consultant at CamTec Data Ltd., a consultancy providing advice, design, project management and training to businesses wishing to use wireless communications with staff or assets in the field.

Martin was Vice Chairman of the MDA responsible for Finance from 1998-2004 and is currently Executive Director responsible for the Secretariat and the day-to-day business of the Association.

Martin has previously held posts as Head of Utilities with Transcomm UK Ltd and Business Development Manager with Maxon Radiocommunications, where he was responsible for the development and sales of wireless data terminals for packet radio networks, PMR and GSM applications.

Martin is a European Chartered Engineer and has many years of experience in the Broadcast and Wireless Data fields.
